The Excellent English Fashion Designer - Anya Hindmarch

Born in Essex to a self-made guy, she was educated at New Hall School, a Roman Catholic convent within Chelmsford.Aged Sixteen Hindmarch had been given an old Gucci handbag by her mother. At that time she is preparing to attend in a University, but the handbag made her really feel so good, and surprisingly , instead of proceeding to College at the aged 18 she proceeded to go to Florence to learn Italian.

Realizing that a drawstring leather duffel tote was all the rage among stylish girls, Hindmarch borrowed $1,000 to import several hand bags to England. Right after sending it to style journal Harpers and Queen through an introduction done by a friend, as a result of their post she marketed Five hundred.

Right after grasping to produce her personal totes in Hackney, inspired by Margaret Thatcher Hindmarch opened a small shop in Walton Street, London aged Nineteen, with her early items based heavily on Italian design concepts. Her designs are popular with both film stars and celebrities, including: Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, Madonna, Claudia Schiffer, Margaret Thatcher and Reese Witherspoon.

Hindmarch is a layout consultant to British Airways, and has created their remarkably covetable First Class amenity packages to much acclaim for 7 years. Hindmarch developed the gift hand bags presented to visitors at Vanity Fair's Oscar party in 2006, 2007 and 2009.

To honor the tenth anniversary, the Bespoke Ebury was released in 2003. Developed to be the ultimate luxury accent, it has been made from the top-quality leather, and included a secret message in the giver’s very own handwriting, with the recipients name can be printed on to the interior.

In 2008, Hindmarch introduced a limited edition ladies handbag for Us shop Target. Readily available at 1600 Targeted stores, offered from Oct Twelve to December 26, 2008. In the same year, Hindmarch collaborated with Selfridges to be able to design a selection of Seasonal hinders.
